Yea - snaps will be featured directly in the SC after next week!
By way of a mild update, our CDN situation should be fixed on Wednesday.
Please welcome @joebonrichie and @kyrios123 as our first community maintainers! Solus is now going to go through a massive evolutionary
phase, and with their help we can begin moving "moar fastly". Importantly, we can flesh out the first steps for our first generation of maintainers, so
that one day they can help to onboard the second, and so on. :)
Please stop assigning people.
Also I'm not aware of a single place in Solus where we have explicitly listed languages, Any language information comes from upstream projects (such as libgnome-desktop). So please, reel in your attitude a little bit, so we can have a constructive discussion.
Eh? Where? In what?
Sorry about ! Ok so after the sync you can install vhba-module-current if you're on linux-current. By way of apology I've also updated all the cdemu things :)
@kyrios123 ping me on the IRCs when you're around pls
This ties into: https://github.com/solus-project/ferryd/issues/7

I have a half way solution. What about for Budgie 11 if someone creates an RSS widget for Raven, and includes the Solus RSS feed by default? :)
idk im going bed lol
LGTM! Also, wanna see how ferryd does :P
Jesus you don't even wanna know. It's 11:35AM here. All nighter. But ferryd is now actively serving Solus!
ferryd = done
Yea. See that? ferryd is in place. Yep.
solbuild now has tram support: https://github.com/solus-project/solbuild/releases/tag/v1.4

ring0 is now registered in DNS to help with the transition (packages. will become the CDN)
Initial testing will begin later today of ferryd after my next sleep (madly offset right now). Basically its internally feature complete but it needs a tiny bit
more polish and safety checks, as well as some kind of visual job tracker.

Yep, I know, running late, here we are Sunday, no ferryd.

Fairly certain CONFIG_FS_INDEX will break all existing overlayfs trees, which includes Docker and solbuild
Please run sudo eopkg rdb to run recovery (per the prompt). Take care when shutting down your computer. :)

Which Solus? Older upgraded or fresh 3? And being systemd specific wouldn't surprise me.
@chrisweeksnz we'll take anything we can get! Once we move to CDN + new infra we'll need to add geoip mirror selection to the SC and push out an emergency update to help everyone jump across to mirrors
Fair do, I'll merge then, cheers :)
I think the main issue was the name chosen for the macro was just odd, as it kinda builds too ...
So if the idea is that this supports multiple file managers, why is only dolphin being split and not nautilus?
Long story short @sunnyflunk has done further testing and can make the existing one go moar faster :)

@kyrios123 we'll definitely want coordinated freezes yes. I imagine it's gonna be a bit like weekly scrums, but without all the agile bullshit.
@sunnyflunk ping, thoughts

Well I'm easy whichever way we do it so I'll let you lads decide on the actual day
We have GNOME calendar, I see no need for a Deepin DE specific application to be included (We don't have Deepin DE and will not be supporting it.)
It also requires dtkwidget from their custom toolkits, which I'm just not having. (because I'm not having Deepin DE in Solus)
Oh look, an Unbreak Now! that actually carries meaning. For realsies, this is our "blocker" bug. One whole week, let's get it done.
Stahp it Herald.
