Folks, please forgive my negligence. I know people are counting on this getting in, so I'm going to do what I can to get this wrapped up.
For reasons unbeknownst to me I had this ready two months ago and never pushed it.
Made requested corrections and updated to build with new gcc version.
My apologies as well for my delay. Got distracted by other things.
Change package name from c++ to cpp.

My mistake. Saw the approval come through then never submitted the patch. Here you go.

Managed to get it built but can't connect to any databases yet and throwing errors all over the place. There is hope, nonetheless.
After some attempts to build mysql-workbench it seems it's not the same as mysql-connector-c++ and is not the one MySQL Workbench is looking for.

Until these hit the repo you can use the following for testing:

Perk user herb on 1 in ~/src/solus/linux-current/files $ grep -i "snd_bebob" config # CONFIG_SND_BEBOB is not set
I noticed /etc/pam.d/ already has pam_limits.so added in some files. Why does it not work until explicitly added to lightdm?
I have a patch ready to go to add 64-bit WineASIO. Tested with Reaper and Komplete Audio 6 USB audio inferface. Just need some help with how to submit.
This is a two way street, unfortunately. They tried to keep Jack2 ABI compatible with Jack1, but failed. Jack2 is missing the metadata API, which breaks compatibility with major tools (Audacity to name one, I believe).
I would like to take this if that would be okay with everyone. I'm enthusiastic about pro audio on Linux and have built a realtime audio stack (Jack - Wine - WineASIO) from raw sources on Gentoo a number of times.
